  • Day 1 CabinFront.JPGFly non-stop from Seattle to Anchorage, Change to Grant Aviation for twenty miniute flight to Kenai. Pickup full size rental car at Kenai airport. Check into your private cottage at Harborside Cottages located just two minutes from the airport at the mouth of the famous Kenai River on Cook Inlet.


  • Day 2 Kenai-Russian-Church-Back21.jpgTour the Kenai Visitors Center museum and Cultural Center, The historical Russian Orthodox Church buit in 1895, and Ft Kenai all within walking distance of your Cottage. In the afternoon take a drive to Captain Cook Park for a spectacular view of the Inlet and Volcano’s.

  • Day 3Visit the Kenai Wildlife Refuge in Soldotna, take a hike on the Moose Range trials and get acquainted with the area. Afternoon you will float the Upper Kenai river With Kenai River Excursions in their Swift Boat.
  • Day 4justfishBears.jpgFly with Alaska West Air across Cook Inlet to Wolverine Creek, a favorite fishing ground for the Alaskan Brown Bear. While you watch the Bears fish you will experience Fly-fishing from a boat with an Alaska West professional guide. This creek is teaming with Wild Alaskan Salmon, so remember to get your fishing license on day 2.

    Learn to carve a Soap Stone Bear (No experience needed) or other project of your choice at Alaska Decoy Company. Carver Rick Scott will provide all tools and instruction needed for anyone to complete this project.


  • Day 6 Kachemack-Bay.jpgLeave early this morning for a two hour drive south along the shore of Cook Inlet to Homer Alaska. Visit Islands & Ocean Visitor Center your window to the largest seabird refuge in the world with all of the natural wonders of Kachemak Bay right outside its door. Both Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge and the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve have made a commitment to inform and educate the public about the natural treasures in the Refuge and the Reserve. Then Kachemak Bay invites exploration. Whether you are interested in spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and hidden fjords or up-close chances to observe sea otters or other wildlife, Kachemak Bay Tour is for you, it is perfect for a natural history buff or photographer as well as Sea Bird lovers.

There you will take a Two Hour Horse Back Trail Ride and see Spectacular valley views, clear mountain streams, thick forests and breath taking Kenai Lake makes this a great trip. We offer a variety of trail choices to meet rider’s abilities.
    (Departs daily at 9:15am, 2:30pm and an evening ride at 5:30pm)
